So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

The icing on my Kake

Took my boys to see The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe Saturday night and it was great. I really loved the entire movie. It was greatness, right up there with LOTR. I can't believe I'm saying it, but it is true. Awesome, awesome movie. Little intense for my 6-year-old, but he did ok. I remember my teacher reading the book to us in the third grade. I looked forward to hearing about it every day. Such good books. I bought the set and the boys are dying for me to start a nightly reading session with it. I think that will be great.

But, gals, there is a littlee sumpin in this show for everyone. Much like LOTR, there is action, adventure, a big hunky guys.

William Moseley, who played Peter is 18 now, so technically drooling over him isn't illegal. I kept thinking that he is going to be gorgeous when he grows up.

I had the idea that Mr. Tumnus is probably hot in real life (and right up on the Pippin scale, he is.)

But, I fell in love with Oreius. Something about a man with two swords riding into battle. Even if it is his own four legs he is riding on. Hmm, wonder if he is hung like a horse, too? Oh, did I say that outloud?

Patrick Kake played Oreius and was a thing of beauty.

and, as Oreius:

Dude rocked going into battle with this two swords.

Great movie. I highly recommend it. Very LOTResque.
