At the Metrodome

July 1 at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. We made a tour of ballparks this summer. Ok, a mini-tour, but we've hit several. We did the Metrodome, the BallPark at Arlington, Kaufman Stadium in KC and we'll be seeing a minor league AA game in Frisco on Thursday. We've seen the Texas Collegiate League locally and we may go see a Fort Worth Cats game on Sunday. *whew*

Here is the gang on the way to the Metrodome.

Two of the world's biggest Twins fans.

This game versus the Brewers was very exciting. This is when everyone was on their feet as the Twins were catching back up late in the game. This was the fifth largest crowd this season at the Metrodome, too.

Pickle does not like loud noises and was hating the crowd noise. I wasn't a big fan of the Metrodome and can see why they are pushing to get the new stadium built. It will be just down the street on the Mississippi River. I think it will be great. This was just too small. The seats were small, the aisles were small. Just not a fan of the design. Give me Kaufman or the BallPark any time.

Please do not be offended by this comment. I am terrified of posting pictures of my family over the internet. I would love to be able to without worrying, but I must read too much news and watch too much happening over the internet. You have a beautiful family, protect them. I protect mine more now than ever. God Bless you and keep you.

I understand your concern and it is rightly there.

We talked alot about it when I first started blogging. But, I'm aleady so over-the-top on over-protectiveness, at some point we have to relax and know that our lives are in God's hands and live without fear as much as we can.

    Thanks for the compliments.

Plus I am usually armed and have no qualms about killing someone threatening my family.

    Good point, honey.

I'm typically armed in some fashion, too. God, it is good to live in Texas.
