SPF: Serenity Prayer style

Random and Odd's Stuff Portrait Friday assignment this week was brought on by Kristine's increasing anxiety and I can appreciate that feeling lately. Unfortunately, anxiety has been my constant companion this week.
1. Something you have outgrown…
2. Something you have overcome..
3. I need help with…

Ok, first one:

I have outgrown "baby lust." It is a uniquely female trait, I think, but we will see a baby and think "ooh, wouldn't it be great to have another baby?" I'm past that now.

2. I've overcome ...

My fear of guns. Now, I enjoy shooting. I'm a pretty good shot, too.

3. I need help with ...

My diet. I will have a good day, then stress or PMS or whatever comes along and I backslide.

So, did you play?

LOL...I'm over the baby thing too! It is good that you are over your fear of guns.

    Great SPF! I played.

What a cutie pie! I understand baby lust, but I am over it as my baby is a teenager now and I don't want to go back to days of diapers and such.

Cool that you've learned how to shoot. Looks like fun!

Is that cherry cobbler that I see? Yum!

Happy SPF and thanks for stopping by mine too.

Baby lust, huh? I keep thinking it will hit me... but I'm almost 29 and no real desire, yet.

Didn't play this week. Hopefully next week!!

It is strawberry/raspberry cobbler. And, I make it all from scratch, except the store-bought fruit. I haven't mastered growing too much of my own stuff yet.

Rest assured ladies; the baby lust will eventually return, only it will take the form of "Grandbaby lust". I've reached the age where all my friends have grandbabies and now I want one, too! Alas, my kiddos are (thankfully) in no hurry to accommodate me on that one, so I guess I'll just have to borrow everyone else's for now.

Just tell yourself when you want something fattening, is it worth it. I fight with it all the time, but I just eat the stuff that will not make me fat now. Once in a while I eat something fattening and then I just regret it, so I don't do it now. Good luck with the battle.

I'm still working on outgrowing that baby thing. While I KNOW that having another one would zap every last ounce of sanity I have left (and that ain't much, my friend) they're just so dang cute...

I satisfy my baby lust these days with visiting other folks' blogs. Plus with 3 I know how much work it is.

I can actually identify with all three! lol Except that I am totally NOT over the babylust because I am still trying to talk the husband into just ONE. LOL

And my dad was a cop growing up and so we were always taught gun safety and such.

And the diet? Good luck!! :)

Happy SPF! Thanks for stopping by mine.

I'd love to have more babies - as long as I don't have to be the one to bear them. No thanks. They are cute, though!

    I played!

Grandkids are great for filling that baby ache. ;-) Seems like you may have a few years before you get to think of those, though, if I'm remembering correctly.

I hear you on the diet, especially with my diabetes. I ought to be doing better.

    Thanks for stopping by!
