Army of Mom

So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

1.11.2007

Hey, you!

ArmyWife ToddlerMom says it is Official De-Lurking Week.

So, that means all you people who just stop by and look are supposed to leave me a little comment.

Hmm, wonder if this stuff will work for me? Who's with me?

Hi AOM.......I don't consider myself a "lurker"...and I absolutely have nothing in common with you.....but I enjoy reading what you write, so I stop by daily. Peace, Mike in Sandy Eggo.

I'll admit to lurking. I drop by so often I feel like I'm stalking instead of lurking. I don't have much in common with you either but I enjoy your blog.

I've left comments oh so rarely, but since I read your blog pretty much every day I'm probably offically more lurker than not. Love your blog, and have to thank you for it being all your fault (you linked it!) that I am also addicted to Bad News Hughes. I'll claim I do have a lot in common with you: not gender, but similar politics and overall views on life - AoD is a lucky man!

There, with this comment I'm claiming 6 months of non-lurker status!

I've checked in from time to time. I like it when you post the beefcake shots then later try to counter it by posting a shot of AoD and talking about how hot he is - and warning us we can't have him and so on. This never fails to amuse me.

Thanks for the comments, folks. Much appreciated. Lisa, I'm glad you like the beefcake shots, but I'm thinking you misunderstand some of my motives on posting the AoD shots. I don't do that to "make up" to him or anything like that. Just when the mood hits me, I like to post him up there, too. I just think men (and women, too) are attractive and there is nothing wrong with appreciating beauty. Lust is a sin that I'm guilty of, no doubt about it. But, for me and AoD, it is a little bit healthy, I think.

Thanks for all the comments. Momilies, I'll try to get over there ... I'm really bad lately about not getting around to any blogs to read.

you got me... darn... i'm here for the pictures of my grandkids... and for the fact that AoD married someone a lot like his mom!!

Ha ha...whatever you need to think to justify dirty pictures of other men. Frankly it's disrespectful and I hope your kids get ahold of this blog one day - but for now, post the beefcake! I'm a single chick!

Tsk, tsk, tsk, Ms. Anonymous. You obviously have never had a secure relationship with a man. I am not insulted by him admiring beautiful women and he is not jealous or hurt by me admiring attractive men. As a matter of fact, I find it pretty flattering because he apparently thinks enough of me to choose me as his wife. We have a wonderful love life and appreciating beauty in others doesn't tarnish our love for each other in the least. I pity your relationships and the apparent insecurity that goes along with them.

And, I won't care if my kids find these blogs one day. Who I am is who I am. What you see is what you get. If my mother in law can read this blog and still love me, I think that is pretty high praise.

I don't know if I officially count as a lurker being that I just found your blog today, but I'll de-lurk anyway. ;) Just want to say hello from a fellow Texan.

I do lurk and post every so often but I started pre- nursing classes and wild how those consumed my fun internet time. All the best and I'll be here and there.

Before I go : ) wanted to write that I think the one kid is an awesome artist.

Thanks to all (ok, mostly all) for the de-lurking comments.

Mike in Utah - mwah! Thanks for the kind words.

Aimee - I know that feeling. I hate it when work and life gets in my way of blogging or surfing!
