Little Bit de Futbol

Little Bit has started soccer in full force and seems to really be enjoying it. These shots are from a soccer clinic the FC Dallas players put on locally. Like most 4-year-olds, she has to wind up to shoot the ball. It takes them a while to grasp just running up and kicking it without stopping and setting their feet.
Little You can see by the Sharks and Minnows game here that she was the smallest kid at the clinic, by far. But, she hung with the best of them. Of course, she was drawn to the little girl in the black (far right) and when they were in line, Little Bit would play with the other girl's hair. So, she is still girly even with all those boys out there. The clinic lasted about two hours and she did great the whole time.
She was having a ball working with each of the four coaches and I think they thought she was pretty cute because she was so little.
Here she is with a couple of the coaches from the clinic. The four coaches stayed and signed autographs after camp. Could she look any happier? Plus, she got to have a picture with the players when her brothers didn't get a chance. They didn't want to do the camp, so I thought little sister ought to get a leg up on the guys for a change. She usually is the one left out of stuff, so she felt very big, too. She has had two soccer games now, but the church indoor league she's in has the kids grouped from 4 to 6 years old, so she is pretty much left out of the bunch ball to simply run behind the bigger kids, but she found a niche in 'guarding the goal' and got more touches that way, so we may let her do more of that. Of course, there will be photos to come.

AoM, that child is terminally cute. It's such a shame that she has to grow up someday! It's good that you're taking the time to enjoy every available moment, and saving so many of them in pictures.

Thank you. I think all three of my children are a joy beyond measure and like most moms, I think they're the cutest children on the planet!!!

My friends and family all know EXACTLY what to give me a gift - picture frames!! I get frames from everyone because they know they will be put to good use. Soon, there will be no flat surface without a photo placed on it. Ok wait, it may already be that way!!!

Have you seen the new "digital picture frame"? It looks just like a regular picture frame, but you can load a few hundred pics onto a memory stick, put it in the frame, and it does a slide show (kind of like a screen saver).

I've seen them at Sam's and I'll have to break down and buy one. That would be perfect for me!!! Good idea.
