Army of Mom

So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

SPF: Lyrics

So, this week the Stuff Portrait Friday assignment was to illustrate a song lyric. I had been motivated until some troll ticked me off, so I didn't do anything last night. I got on the laptop briefly and looked through old images and found something that made me think of "Slip Sliding Away" by Simon & Garfunkel:
Slip sliding away, slip sliding away
You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away

My Indiana in-laws laugh at pictures like these. We don't have a need for sleds here except maybe once or twice a year, so we make do with laundry baskets. Kids still love it. :) This was in 2007. No ice storms this year for basketing down the driveway. This year, we got real snow. :)
And, Coolio's "Sumpin New". Pretty obvious, sorry.
Slide, slide, but that's the past ...
So, did you play? Go to Random and Odd and see who played.

That picture goes with that song. Great ideal about the basket. I never thought of that. When my son was little I would pull him around the house in a clothes basket. It is funny, as soon as I read the lryics, the song starts going in my head. memories. Thanks for stopping by.

I'm thinking this Christmas I need to send your Texas kiddos some real sleds! Your right, I started laughing when I saw the laundry baskets!
