Tartar sauce

Kasey Kahne has been kicking Nascar hiney all day. So, now, 100 miles left to go and he wrecks.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Kasey Kahne's chances for a Texas sweep went up in smoke when he nailed the wall in Turn 4.

I didn't know you were a Kasey fan... he's a great driver. He was struggling all day today, but still managed to hang in the top five until his engine blew. Glad he didn't get hurt hitting the wall that hard.

Sondra - YOU turned me on to the greatness that is Kasey. I saw your blog stuff on him and instantly fell in love. Even got Hot Rod cheering for him today, too. I had turned around when Kasey's car crashed and I heard the 5-year-old yell "What the?" and then "Noooooo!!!" By the time I turned around, there was my honey all wrecked up. The phone rang soon after with calls of condolences from Uzz.

Sorry for the double posting up there.. blogger was being stupid.

I knew #9 was in trouble when he started saying things like, "I can't drive this peice of shit."

It was only a few laps later when the engine blew. He knew something was wrong.

His engine wouldn't have blown if he had been driving a chevy. Oh that's right, I went there.

Actually, it was an oil pump shaft that was the problem. Evernham's engines rarely have any problems... but then again I don't buy into the whole dodge/chevy/ford hoopla... I don't think there is a whole lot of difference between them, although I'd never, ever drive a Ford.

All I know is that good old #20 Tony Stewart's car went up in flames...glad he's ok...but it couldn't happen to a better guy;-) I cannot remotely stand him...I was rooting for the Labontes.

Uzz, I feel the same way about Tony Stewart. It was great last week when his wheel came off. I'm also glad that he's okay and that he didn't get burnt/hurt today, but still... I don't care for him as a driver.
