Pretty flowers

No particular reason for these, just pretty. They are from my mom's neighbor's house around her pool. These irises are the coolest I've ever seen.

And, just pretty flowers.


Today will be spent with Pickle. He has to go to the specialist in Fort Worth and possibly have labs, which usually include a blood draw and x-ray to check his medication levels in his blood and his bone age. Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia has a lot of little things it can do to a kid. Replacing the cortisol that his body doesn't make is a tricky business and CAH can cause a kid's bones to grow too fast, so we have to make sure that the bones are on track, too. Lots to it. But, he has been doing ok so far. After that, we'll be getting the boys registered for school. That is so not fun.
