My dorkdom lives on
Started wondering if the comic book con would be here again in October and looked it up. Yep, coming back Oct. 15 & 16. Then, I looked back and I missed one in February and I missed a HOBBIT!!!! Yes, Sam Wise was here and I missed him. For a mere $30, I could have had an autographed Hobbit photo! While it wasn't Pippin or Frodo, it was still a Hobbit and would have been one-quarter of my Hobbit orgy fantasy.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say I was kicking myself. The October con has Princess Leia, so I have a few months to find a metal bikini to wear and cause all the dorks to prematurely ejaculate in their stormtrooper and klingon costumes.
I'm going to be counting down the days. I just hope they bring some Star Trek, LOTR or Harry Potter folks, too. The best part is they posted the dates for the upcoming cons, so I can plan. I called LabKat since she is the Star Wars dork between the two of us. She still wasn't quite as enthused as I was. I just hope another Hobbit comes to this one.

I'm excited about Carrie Fisher being at the Oct. convention. My lack of enthusiasm was at missing the hobbit.

The funniest thing about this spammer is the thing was "feeling lonely? for only $4.99 to connect and .99 cents a minute, talk to singles in your area" or some such bullcrap. It is amusing they picked the comic book con entry to leave that on. They're targeting their audience, or so they thought. hee hee
