Army of Mom

So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

10.10.2005

Here comes Speed Racer

He's also known as Army of Dad.

*shaking my head*

This dude has a lead foot. Not that I have a lot of room to talk, but damn.

He got a speeding ticket on Sept. 29 for 79 in a 60.

This morning he gets popped for 71 in a 60. Thankfully, the trooper seemed to be sympathetic because AoD has a CHL. Trooper was asking him about his gun instead of writing him a ticket. He also told him to clean his license plate. We're really bad for having dirty cars.

*sigh*

Hats off to AoD, someone has to speed and you seem like just the man for the job. Bonus points if you were flipping off old people going 10 mph slower than the limit.

I would have but there aren't many people on the road around 6 a.m., much less old poeple driving too slow.

As I have no room to talk, I won't.

I just recently got popped for speeding.

We should all start a club or something.

With the car you drive Lab Kat I am not surprised. Gadfly and your motorcycle...'nough said.

However my little POS has a hard time achieving any speed, much less one "too fast". Besides even at those speeds I am not out driving my ability, or my vehicle.

I drive too fast, too, the cops just don't look at a minivan as tightly as they do other cars.

and, it wasn't going to be blogfodder till you got stopped twice in less than two weeks!

I guess next time I get a warning I will just have to forget mentioning it to you!

I haven't been pulled over in more than seven years so it could well be another seven before it happens again.

    If I recall correctly, I haven't gotten a ticket since 1996.

*knocking on wood that it doesn't change since I mention it*

    Mom! Hush!

You don't ever dress your man down in public.

You wait until he gets home and then let him have it ;-)

Why Gadfly, how very Cotillionesque of you!

As Gadfly likely knows, AoM and I will pick at each other no matter who is around. That's just the way we are.

AoD: Well, just give me my bustle, fan and a mint julep.

You're going to be like one of those old Italian couples walking through the mall and arguing. "We never owned a Plymouth!" "Fuck you!"
