Stuff Portrait Friday

Ok, this was a trip down memory lane for the Stuff Portrait Friday on Random and Odd.

This week's assignment:
Your Yearbook (any year)
The person who made life hell for you
The person you still talk to

Ok, here are the yearbooks from my freshman and senior year of high school. Look familiar anyone?

The person who made life hell for you - no one made my life hell, but this person didn't make it fun. She had a way of acting like she thought she was better than everyone and she was constantly judging everyone. Worst part was that we were almost always involved in the same things. First picture is us as freshmen officers, the second is our senior year as co-basketball sweethearts.

Sorry about the crappy quality. Crappy yearbook photos and taking pictures of them doesn't help.

She seems cuter to me now (looking back) than when we were in school. I think it was her attitude that made her so ugly to me then. Eww, my bangs were way TOO short in that pic above.
Lots of people I still talk to. First off here is Chad (whom you see comment on here all the time). I was first runner-up to calendar girl and he was my manager.

Of course, my high school best friend, in her cheerleader days.

And, in June.

I have a lot of friends I keep up with. Many come to my blog. I value all of my friends. One even loaned me her car for two days while my old van was in the shop.

This was a good SPF.

On a really bright note, today is Kennedale High School's homecoming! Yeehaw!

I saw the best friend's child on TV at the pep rally this morning on Fox 4!!!! God, I'm old!

I found some of those pictures in my box o' junk, too! I also found a picture of you and the newspaper staff going out to lunch one day. Must have been sunglasses day at school that day because everyone had on shades!

I love your pictures! Really like the pointy bra in the first one. I think all of my high school bras were like that.

WOW~! Those pics bring back memories. WOW, is all I can say . I haven't seen a Kennedale yearbook in ages. Of course I chose to NOT go to school most of the time :-)

AOM- give Chad my email....I would love to catch up with him.

Hey Chad- do you remember that time in Algebra when you gave me a tack to put in Mrs Browns chair and the she NEVER sat down all period???? I was devestated.

Oh, the money I would have paid to see Mrs. Brown sit on a tack. I really did not like her. I didn't like Mrs. Worley either. *shuddering*

And, thankfully, it wasn't ME with the pointy bra in those pictures. But, I remember my mother's cone-shaped bras and thinking that they were gross.

Mrs Brown followed me like a black cloud from 7th to 8th and then to high school. I did not like that woman. And then...years later...I am sitting at the bar at LaBare, cigarette and drink in hand and she sits down next to me! Ohhh the guilt I suddenly felt- like I was doing something wrong!

FYI- I no longer smoke :-)
    ** shuddering***

I still have my yearbooks, but they are more to remind me how crappy my school was and to show people that I had hair back then.

Do you remember the Spiderman web we made on the teacher's toilet in the third grade? That teacher DID sit on it.
