Duck, duck, penguin?

When we visited Memphis many years ago, we were told about the famous Peabody Ducks, but apparently some kids in The Peabody in Little Rock got a special treat Friday as Jackie, a South African penguin and her keeper from the Fort Worth Zoo visited Little Rock to participate in a fund raiser ball to bring more South African penguins to the Little Rock Zoo.

    He was making baby penguin sounds at school - from the March of the Penguins movie. Surely you have heard both the boys making these sounds.

    Anyone else find it ammusing that the kid who is bothered by the sounds made by other people makes noises that bother other people?

    Nothing's wrong with the penguin sounds when done at the appropriate times. However, doing them IN CLASS IN SCHOOL is not the appropriate time. MOT = Mean Old Teacher ... so if MOT ain't happy, then Army of Mom ain't happy which subsequently makes Pickle very unhappy as well. :)

    BadTux - you'd love to see the boys do their penguin chick sounds and "fight" like penguins. It is fairly hysterical and makes me wish I really had a video camera to record and show when they're 18 and 14!

    ok AOD, I really just need an excuse for meds. But the sounds he makes is really getting to me. And yes it is odd that he does not like other kids to make noise, but if he does its ok. It has gotten better since AOM had a little talk with him. I owe you .MOT
