Rest in Peace, Luciano

When I heard the news this morning that Luciano Pavarotti had died, I immediately thought of my mom. He is her favorite singer. She always loved to listen to him. Dad (who could care less) took her to see him perform a few years back. I think it is probably one of her favorite memories of all time. Here, he is performing one of my favorite songs - Ave Maria. I can't help but tear up every time I hear it and his rendition is so incredibly beautiful. The musical world has lost one of its master. Vaya con Dios, Luciano.
