I really hate Michael Moore
This guy is such a pompous ass and so completely full of himself. I wish I had a fraction of his confidence. He is talking about submitting his film for the Oscar for Best Picture because he doesn't want to "take away" from the other great documentaries that came out this year by entering his movie in the best documentary category - like he is a shoo-in for winning that category. There's a story in the Yahoo news about it today.
I guess he is probably right that his movie belongs in the entertainment category because a documentary might imply that it is just that.

It is absolutely NOT a documentary. It's the antithesis of a documentary.

From "The Mirror" (UK), Michael Moore states..."I honestly believe they (Bush Administration) are putting their toe in the water to see if people will go for martial law. After 9/11 we had hundreds of Arab Americans rounded up and put in prison with no charges. You know there's an undercurrent of feeling that we may not even have an election...If there is another 9/11 a justification may be used to call it off and install martial law."
This is so insane it doesn't even deserve a response.
(I got this quote in the August issue of the Limbaugh Letter)

I can't believe Michael Moore is THAT stupid. I really can't. I'm guessing he is in favor of gun control, too. If you are THAT afraid of the government, you should be taking up arms to defend your rights. But, then again, he probably isn't for that either. Gees.

Have you ever seen any Michael Moore movies? In "Bowling for Columbine" he mentions that he is an NRA member and does not favor gun control. Watch "Farenhiet 911". It's entertaining. Although he does at times get hung up on conspiract theory stuff, there is much factual video in there that would give even the most devout Bush fan reason to wonder.
