Would you believe ...
Five things about me that most people would NEVER believe. Hell, I have a hard time believing them about myself:
1. I voted for Clinton/Gore in 92 and 96.
2. I used to have a picture of Al Gore on my desk in the newsroom in Durant, Okla.
3. I used to have a "I'm the face of Pro-Choice America" sticker on my car.
4. I used to have an Ann Richards shirt and worked for her Texas gubernatorial campaign as a volunteer while in college.
5. I was a registered Democrat.

Um, I for one believe that. You used to hate the idea of having a gun in the house much less keeping it loaded. Now we have more than that loaded, not to mention the ones that aren't!
Doesn't Hannity have a saying about that?

No idea on Hannity. I was an idealistic journalist and it showed politically!

Army of Mom, I am happy that you have grown so much in so little time. My wife used to work as a secretary in a newsroom and the joke at the time was that the two secretaries (for the editor and managing editor) were the only Republicans there. Through visits to the newsroom and social functions I found this to be true.
Anyway, since you have grown so, maybe Army of Dad could fix you up with some new jewelry. Follow the link http://www.adoptasniper.org/bracelets.htm
Enjoy

Except for Ann...at least she LOVES Texas!!! Thank goodness we both turned from the dark side...our kiddo could have ended up a Sith.

It amazes me to reflect on my life and see how I have changed. Most of the changes came from becoming a mother and realizing that the little Catholic slogan is true: it is a child, not a choice. That just sort of started the ball rolling toward my more conservative leaning ways more and more. I have lots of people who tell me I'm probably more of a libertarian than Republican and they may be right, except for the legalizing drugs thing. But, then again, I waffle on that stance, too. One minute, I see the justifications in legalizing it, and the next I think that is a horrible idea and we should maintain the status quo.

I would be ashamed to admit that I voted for an immoral adulter. I bet you would even vote for Hilary.
I am proud of our Christian President Bush. My son is fighting for your freedom and the freedom of your family.

It is a shame that you didn't read more posts than this one ... you'd understand that the post was to show how much I've changed since I was a young girl.
Now, I'm a monster Pres. Bush supporter and voted for him in both elections. I'm pro-life and very much a supporter of the troops and this war on terror.
I hope you don't go away from my blog thinking I'm like that now.
