The Flight That Fought Back
TLC is running a show about Flight 93 and what happened on The Flight That Fought Back on Sept. 11, 2001.
I'm scared to watch it. I know the emotions are going to be very very very intense. My eyes well up just thinking about that day. All the memories come rushing back. Despite the miles between Pennsylvania, New York and D.C., 9/11 feels like it happened in my back yard.
We're having Pickle's birthday party on the 11th because we don't want to let that day always symbolize sadness for us. We'll still remember ... we'll ALWAYS remember.
