Go Gators!

Well, the Gators made it to the NCAA championship game easily over George Mason (Sorry Mo K!).

And, Hot Rod's Gators had their first game today. Too cute in his uniform. In typical teeball fashion, each team scored five runs before the other team got three outs. We had two outs in one inning. Oooh, rub down the goosebumps.

My son looks very Craig Biggio in his uniform.

He got into playing shortstop.

And, I'm not sure what was so funny. It isn't like he saw the kid in left field picking his nose or biting his nail, or whatever he was doing.

I believe he went three for three today. :) He was batting like Jeff Bagwell at one pint when the coach didn't move the tee up for him. We don't watch the Astros, either.

He has a good swing.

He loves to run, too, so baserunning is loads of fun to him.

Not sure what he was trying to show is dad here.

I love the chain link effect. :) It was pretty fun only because it is painful for all of them out there. I'm a bit sadistic, aren't I?

Congratulations to the Gators! (She says, whilst licking wounds :-)
I think Mason just couldn't handle the pressure of making it as far as they did. They missed some easy shots, and their 3-pointers missed their mark overwhelmingly so, unlike w/the U-Conn game.
It was a great ride, though.

Even though they crushed us, we'll go with FL; we have family there and that's were Mr. Mo was born, so there's more of a connection than with UCLA.
    Enjoy the ice show!!

Hot Rod actually went 2 for 3 since he grounded into a fielders choice. And since we are setting the record straight, that player is indeed picking his nose.
