SuperBowl Sunday

I'm stoked this year more than most. I like both teams and both coaches and I'm ready for a helluva game.

We are going to make chili for lunch and aside from Sunday School and afternoon CCD classes for Hot Rod, we plan to chill around the house all day. We'll eat queso and chips during the game. It will be great.

My prediction:

Bears 24
Colts 17

Oh, come on!! Biggest game of the year, darn near biggest football fan I've ever seen, and all you're eating is queso and chips??

This is the Super bowl of SNACKING! We're doing queso and chips, but we're also doing mini pizzas, teriyaki wings, fresh guacamole dip, brownie bites, chips and dip, veggies and dip, and fruit salad.

Get with it, girl! GO BEARS!

Your score prediction was close--although reversed-- since the COLTS WON!!!! I thought today couldn't be better when they announced a 2 hr school delay for tomorrow (due to weather) but than the Colts went and won, too!

I, too, noticed I was close on the score, but in reverse. It was a good game, though.

And, I did expand the snacking a bit. We had some Schwan's potstickers and AoD made some peanut-soy dipping sauce to go with them. Then we had some popcorn, too. Yippee. Boring, I know.

I think I was the only one in my immediate group at work who thought the Colts would pull it off. (Heck, pull it off? They dominated.) It came down to point spread among everyone over how much the Bears would win.
Probably a good thing I'm off work today, cuz I'm sure there are lots of sour pusses moping around. Too bad I'm not a bettin' woman. I'd have cleaned up, big time. :-)

For this year's Superbowl parties, I think we need to take a previous Superbowl commercial into consideration; Tide-to-go "Talking Stain" Ad. As everyone jumps around cheering on the teams, drinks and food are bound to be spilled all over! To keep our homes and our friends clean (and maintaining good impressions), might I suggest having Tide-to-go pens at the party?

On behalf of Tide, I'd like everyone to know that Tide is offering a coupon at Tidetogo.com (stock up and be the "Hero" at the party!)

Also, if you loved the "Talking Stain" commercial, you can vote for it to be named the top Superbowl commercial on CBS.com There will be a show revealing the top choice on Jan 31, 2009. Vote here: http://www.cbs.com/collections/superbowl/index.php?week=1 (Then at 8p.m. ET, watch the show and vote live to pick between the top 3!)
