Army of Mom

So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

Why can't anything be easy? or I'm heading for a breakdown

My frustration point has hit an all-time high at this moment and if I can't crawl under a rock soon, I may seriously come unglued. Would you believe I'm still battling insurance for that stupid wreck that occurred exactly a month ago?

So, to sum up my crappy week thus far:
*Allstate still sucks
*Flooding sucks
*Middle school boys tend to suck - I had a bunch of them get hateful with me yesterday after school. What happened to being afraid of adults when they admonished you for poor behavior?
*Volunteering for just about anything sucks to me right now - no one seems to value what you do and they criticize you when you don't do it how they want you to (this is from fellow volunteers to parents)
*Trying to pay medical bills sucks
*Being overextended with everything I do ... that sucks.

*putting away soapbox to crawl into the fetal position in the corner*

Someday, we'll have to sit and compare "Allstate Sucks" stories.

Allstate continues to suck harder and harder. Now, they're saying they won't compensate for my lost wages for all the hours of my time I've spent talking with their agents, chasing down car repairs, chasing down rental cars, etc.

I had a policy with Allstate from 1979 until 2002. That's 23 YEARS for all you aritmetically-challenged folks. I filed my VERY FIRST CLAIM in 2002 (yeah, it was a total loss, but that shouldn't matter) and they CANCELED ME! They would allow me to keep my liability coverage, but they would not write me collision and comprehensive because I had ONE CLAIM in 23 YEARS! Now, I keep seeing their "Accident Forgiveness" commercials on the TV, and it makes me want to RETCH.
