Snake Wrangler
I really REALLY REALLY hate snakes. So, guess what bizarro thing I did today? I caught a little snake in our back yard for the kids to check out.
Yeah, sometimes I shock myself. We're working on cleaning up the back yard in anticipation of Hot Rod's birthday party on May 17. So, some maintenance is definitely required and while raking up leaves, we found the little bugger.
We think he is a rough earth snake, but not sure. I need to try to get him a better set up than the snack tray he's hanging out in right now.

Brave lady. Did you use oven mits and bbq tongs like I did?

I used a trowel and a giant plastic tumbler. :) Poor thing's home is a plastic hor'derve (spelling is bad, sorry) tray with lid. :) But, I did make him a habitat today with some composted soil, leaves and sticks. I caught him a few worms and put some water in there, too.
