Another example of "peaceful" liberals

ARGH! Stuff like this makes me want to scream. This peaceful party of tolerance that it is.

Courtesy of Smash, comes this story of a soldier getting the shit beat out of him for wearing an Iraqi freedom shirt at a Toby Keith concert. Now, I'm shocked that anyone at a Toby Keith concert would do that. It isn't like it is a Dixie Chicks concert.

Found another entry about this at Sworn Enemy that includes a link to the news story about this.

ED NOTE: Sorry about the links not working. Lets see if this does the trick.

Because the soldier was beaten up wearing a Iraqi freedom shirt means the attackers were liberals? Come on, you've got to be kidding. Where's your proof?!!

    Well go read this: http://www.nbc4i.com/news/3746350/detail.html

It says the "person" who attacked him was screaming profanities and making crude remarks about soldiers during the attack.

I don't know any conservatives who would attack a soldier, much less do so while making crude remarks about soldiers while doing it.

Where is your proof it wasn't a liberal?

I know where my proof would be had I been there...laying in a pool of blood praying the police show up and make the bad man stop kicking the life out of him.

The little coward had better be glad this soldier's buddies are still in Iraq. Had that not been the case he would very likely been beaten within an inch of his life. He wouldn't be able to outrun them and unit cohesion demands that he get the beating of his life for attacking a unit member.

Regardless of the political affiliation of the assholes who beat the soldier, they were assholes. The news story reported that the dudes beating him up were making derogatory remarks about the war and his service. How much more do you need to hear to wonder about their politics?

Yes I am serious. This occured OUTSIDE the concert so it was likely some lefty punk looking for trouble (before you get started about how that NEVER happens, Seattle-G7 summit, New York-RNC convention, etc...).

Actually everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, this isn't a court of law.

Oh, since that "only applies to Republicans" does that mean your ilk will finally stop refering to a "stolen election"?

12:37 Anony./2ND comment/ Wow! When politics comes into play it seems some people get stupid! Assuming the asskicker was a liberal or a "lefty" (revolution can't be far away than, can it? Ha,Ha,Ha!!) is a little radical and extremist!! If you want stupid politics watch Prez. Buffoon(Bush) on out takes the Letterman show runs. Georgie boy literally doesn't know his left hand from his right hand! It wasn't doctored either. Right wingers, say HI to the real President, Dickie Cheney. If any one thinks Bush is competent, they're dumber than a box of rocks. I'm not saying Kerry is necessarily the best in the USA, but he sure beats the hell out an idiot!!

Wrong answer. HARVARD does not give out MBAs to just anyone, no matter family connections, money, whatever. It does not happen. They would cheapen their product if they did so. That is one reason why the Harvard Business School is so highly thought of by the business community.

As to Kerry being better...I suppose he could come off as more polished, that is if he could ever figure out what believes! I've lost track, is he for or against the Iraq war this week? Just trying to figure out which side he will be on next... and don't even get me started on gun control or taxes or ...

One reason I think Bush is more of the "every man" is because he isn't a polished speaker. I would much rather someone speak from his heart and make an occasional gaffe than to be talking out of both sides of his mouth and spouting out opinions based on who he is talking to at the time. Bill Clinton was one of the most gifted speakers we've ever has as a president, but would I vote for him today if he was running (and legally able to do so)? No. Just because he is an eloquent speaker doesn't make him a better president. It doesn't matter how polished Kerry's speeches are - he can't make up his mind on what he believes. One interview I watch, he said it was the right thing to unseat Hussein. Next thing I know, he says he thinks it was a giant mistake, blah blah blah. He bases his "stances" (if they can be called that) based on the audience he is talking to at the time and the latest polls on what he should stand for. At least Bush makes a stand and stays with it.

As for him being stupid - please. I'm really sure that Yale and Harvard just hand out degrees. As a matter of fact, I think I'll mail off for one today.

To Dad & TRA: I didn't think you would understand what I was saying. Bush graduated from college, that's true, but if you've been around as many years as I have, you'd know a diploma doesn't automatically make a person smart!! And my previous comment about "stupid" was directed at POLITICS! True, Bush, isn't the brightest bulb in the country, but neither is Kerry! And pay attention to what group it is the candidates are speaking. They always gear it to what the people want to hear! Man, that crap has been going on for decades. THINK!! Where do you want this country to be four years from now? Will you be happy if the deficit has soared even worse than it has under Bush? Will you be happy if we are still mired down in Iraq? Will you be happy if we are still the most hated people on the planet? Will you be happy if the environment continues it's set backs? If you have kids, and "Dad", it looks like you do, do you want them to grow up and be stuck with HUGE debts, being hated, breathing polluted air? I could go on and on. Think about this too, if what Bush promises to do if re-elected is so great, why wasn't it done in the last four years?? I'll give Bush one big credit...he's suckering a LOT of people!! All I can say is WAKE UP AMERICA, before it's too late!!............

It is one thing to tailor your message to the audience you are speaking to (this is just good public speaking). It is quite another to completely change your position based on who/where you are speaking to.

Kerry told autoworkers that he loves his big SUV. He told environmentalists he didn't like SUVs. He told a third party that the family actually owns the SUV, not him.

Kerry on Iraq...well no one is sure where he stands on Iraq. I think he is trying to surround the issueIt is one thing to tailor your message to the audience you are speaking to (this is just good public speaking). Kerry on Iraq...well no one is sure where he stands on Iraq. I think he is trying to surround the issue in hopes that it will surrender.

Kerry on guns. Consistently rated "F" by the NRA and every other pro-RKBA group. Kerry claims to be an avid hunter and defender of the second amendment. He has in fact voted for EVERY piece of gun ban legislation he has had the chance to. He even came off the campaign trail to help kill tort reform for gun manufacturers and try to extend the AWB.

Kerry has been in the race long enough to be on every side of almost every issue. WAKE UP LEFTIES before its too late. If you don't like Bush that's fine. He actually tries to get stuff done - see all the dead terrorists. I know the average lefty knows little about accomplishing something, preferring to just talk it out - but talking it out won't get it done. Don't just vote for anybody but Bush. Take a long look at Kerry, the more you look the less you will like him. If that isn't the case please go to the middle east try to find Zarqawi and ask to be beheaded because you are beyond hope of ever having a cogent thought.

Kerry's leadership isn't the answer. He has already shown his propensity to want to talk things out and that isn't going to make terrorism or the threats abroad go away. He is practically inviting more terrorist attacks. The debt is bad, but I'll let my children deal with that - at least they'll be alive to do it. We have to stop terrorism from returning to the US. If that means we're hated internationally, so be it. Fear us. I don't have a problem with that. And, regarding the increasing debt, if it keeps us safe. That is fine. Which party has historically ran up the worst debts? The Democrats. Reagan ran one up with a Democrat controlled Congress. Cold war won. The price was worth it.

    Army of Dad.
