What women can learn from men
Reading my Family Circle magazine about disputes over housework, etc. and the battle of the sexes.
There was this little gem in a box:
What women can learn from men
*Let it slide. The messy den really can wait a day or two.
*A house is just a house. You're not a failure if it it's not perfect.
*Take one thing at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself with the big picture.
*Put fun first. Would you feel happier washing out the produce drawer or curling up with a novel?
I'm working on this philosophy and so far, I think it is helping. Of course, my couch is covered with clean laundry to put away and the dishes are piled up in the sink. But, hey, I'm a happy camper.

i think most guys would add something about "if it itches scratch it, regardless of who might be watching or where you are"
but its a good motto otherwise. ;)

Yeah, I think you're right about that. Same for burping. What is it with guys and burping and not saying excuse me?
