Army of Mom

So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

Counting down the days

LabKat complained about the Christmas aisle already being up at Target and on a Bah Humbug Redneck sort of note, I already purchased Kasey Kahne and Jeff Gordon racecar Christmas tree ornaments there a week or so ago.

Because, as you know, nothing says "Welcome Baby Jesus" as much as the vrooming sound of a Chevy and a Dodge!!!

Only 17 more days till I go to Texas Motor Speedway to see the boys race!!!! Yeehaw!

p.s. Kasey is my guy despite Army of Dad's attempts to call him a one-trick pony. He is the Jeff Gordon fan in the household (not that I don't like him, he's just not my guy.)

I need to adopt a driver I guess...I like Kahne as a driver, but too many women like him for me to be a fan...Little E is too commercial for my indie tastes...maybe I will have to root for Greg Biffle or something!!

I am jealous that you get to go to the race...I wish I still had the pipeline to shoot the races, but no more sadly.

I really like Biffle. He is an "every man" to me. I love his Subway commercial, too. But, he's a good guy. I really have about a half-dozen racers that I really like. And a few more that I really don't like.

I told you how I scored these tickets, right? I won them. I had signed up for the free Mavs tickets if they advanced in the playoffs, but when that didn't happen, the Mavs, Academy and TMS got together and if you wore Mavs gear and went to specially designated Academy during a particular window of time, you could be in a drawing for the Nascar tix. That is how I won them!

You know, I resemble that remark. ;)

I'm jealous of you getting to be in the pits.

And, I'm bummed about the race results today. I do like Jimmie Johnson (if for no other reason than he's hot!) Hated that Kasey and Jr. bumped and it bounced Jr to 22nd. I didn't get to see the race. *sigh* The story of my life.
