Army of Mom

So this is how liberty dies ... with thunderous applause.

You may ask yourself

How did I get here?

I didn't read Cosmopolitan when I was in college because it was a little sophisticated for me. So, I picked one up at the grocery store yesterday and now I'm reading it and rolling my eyes because it seems a little juvenile for me when they're talking about dumping boyfriends and how to find single guys.

How did I get from Point A to Point C? I just missed Point B somewhere along the way.

Are you sure you didn't grab "teen cosmo"? LOL

There's too much focus on "Point B" in our society.

You're no worse for missing it. You were probably bust having kids.

    I meant "busy".

    I hope that wasn't a Freudian slip...

I remember the first time I realized seventeen magazine was silly...
I also remember when my dad wouldn't pay for my first subscription because he didn't think I was old enough for it yet (I think I was like 15 or 16).
Now I've gotten to the point where I think Parents magazine is ridiculous. Where have the years gone?

    Letting the days go by...
(let the water hold me down)
    Letting the days go by...
    (water flowing underground)
    Into the blue again...
    (after the money's gone)
    Once in a lifetime...
    (water flowing underground)
