Does anyone know?

Who must one know or blow to get service providers to actually arrive within that window of time they give you for their arrival?

And, does anyone actually get them to show up on time? If they say 9-11 a.m., do they really show up at 9 a.m. somewhere? I've never had it happen to me.

I say this as I sit and wait for AC guy who was supposed to come in that time frame. It is 11:05 now.

I only know of one that shows up on time. I refuse to give out their names, because they are mine dammit! I am still waiting for one provider to make their 9-11 window. Did I mention that they were supposed to be here between 9-11 LAST FRIDAY?

The best service providers are self-employed.

I know a good A/C repairman. He is self-employed, and he does whatever he can to save you money. I know, it's hard to believe. He was recommended to me by a co-worker. He kept her old ac going as long as he could until she finally had to get it replaced. We are talking years. E-mail me or call if you want the number. Dion

Usually by the time you kill the first two who are late, then torture the third, they get the message.
