Hot Rod and his dad spent a lot of time getting things set up this weekend for a science fair experiment. The boy is doing something about which kinds of ammo have best penetration.
Dad spent a lot of time figuring out ways to check out the theory and wet phonebooks seemed to do the trick. Here they are recording some data about how the shots penetrated.
And, that is some mighty fine shooting by a 10-year-old if I do say so myself. Dad had him shooting in different corners for different ammo (and different phonebooks to absorb the shots). Not too shabby.

And what is more impressive, I told him to start moving his aiming point because the shots were too close to test the penetration. He forgot after two shots and went right back to the smae spot...I can't complain too much of course since he shot so darn well!
