Reporters, check facts? Say it ain't so
I tend to agree with the following commentary offered by the Columbia Journalism Review that reporters today are so lazy that they just accept what is fed to them without bothering to do some investigation.

Things could get very clear if Mr. Kerry would allow his full military records to be made public. It would seem he fears what they would show. No matter, the real firestorm is only just beginning. The Swifties along with wives of Viet Nam POW's are taking aim at Kerry's post military anti-war antics.
I've also been wondering how a man making his military service the crux of his campaign could possibly justify the throwing away of his "beloved" medals? Mystifying.

Weren't they "just" the ribbons? Or didn't belong to someone else?
Anyone know what Kerry's story is this week?
