Makeover

I had a little bit of time to myself this evening. I took the kids to a Kids Night Out at the local church. So, they had fun, had snacks and listened to Jesus stories. Its all good.

I went to the Clinique counter at Foley's and had a makeover. Not sure if you can really tell in the picture, but I seldom wear makeup and I see a giant difference. I may actually try and do my makeup, I felt THAT much better about myself.

You look wonderful! A trip to the makeup counter is just what a lady needs after weeks in a recliner chair and trips to the doctor's office.

Aren't church events the best? My sons have not-so-fond memories of Jesus lessons, but I know I sure enjoyed time with grown-ups and no money going into the hands of a babysitter at the end of the evening.

Thanks to all. Clinique will do it for "free" if you're going to buy some of the products. I'm not sure if there is a dollar amount to it, but I don't think so. It is worth the time. I spent more money than I had intended to, but I felt like after the past few weeks and my good news about the lump ... I deserved it! Plus, I'm feeling better about myself, so why not treat myself right? After this job ends, I won't have the money to do it then, so now is a good time to do it.

    But I'm a "winter"

I don't want the base to make my eyes look beige.
