Flashback

I spent many a night looking lustfully at Rick Springfield as a young girl. Posters of him filled my room. Fold-outs and posters from Tiger Beat magazine were all over my bulletin board. I watched General Hospital for him, John Stamos and Jack Wagner. My, oh my. Those were the days. Ironically, I saw Genie Francis with her handsome husband, Jonathan Frakes Saturday at the comic con. She was signing autographs, too. Anyway.

Rick Springfield awakened longings in my junior high days that only got worse as I got older. I saw him in concert and I drooled and wore bandannas tied around my wrist and my ankle to be cool like him, too.

Now, Noah Drake returns to General Hospital. I may have to watch again while he's on. Just for giggles.

I was dragged to see Rick Springfield and Corey Hart by a girl I was dating back in the mid-80s or somesuch. Hart was a joke, but I had to give Springfield points for being energetic onstage...but mainly I wanted to hit it off the chica.

I was in love with Rick Springfield...I didnt have an empty spot on my wall OR my ceiling!

I saw him when he was at Arbor Daze in Euless, was that 02???? I think it was 03. Anyway...he dropped so many F bombs! This wa a family function....I was shocked. Of course it didnt hurt my eyes but I could see the parents around me cringe every time he did this.

He was still sexy as ever , though!

I just saw your post on Rick and had to say something. Yes I am finally finding Rick fans! I just saw him in September. He is older than the men in Duran Duran and he looks better. I can't wait for him to go back on GH. When Genie left, I stopped watching. At 56, he has more energy during a show. He's unreal. I took way too many photos of him in concert, but it was worth it.

Apparently, he toured this last year and I missed all of them. However, my love for the 80s goes on with my Hall and Oates concert next week!!!

Even found one of my buttons to wear. Remember those? We had them all over our jackets ... how cheesey we were!! But, at least we didn't make National Geographic-like holes in our ears like some kids do today. Gees, I'm so old.

Anyone have any legwarmers I can borrow? I'll put my hair in a ponytail on the side, too.
